HELLER-5

Heller - V

STATUS: Decided

ISSUE: One citizen has govt permission to carry 20 rounds on his person during Concealed Carry mode (CCL) and another citizen may only carry 12 rounds.

The carried rounds are also Limited to merely TWICE the no. of rounds of that person’s firearm capacity. Ex., Mary’s Semi-auto Pistol is limited to a 10-round magazine so she can carry a max of 20 on her person while CCW. On the other hand, Dick’s CCW is his favorite 6-gun, a .22 magnum Revolver, ( with 80% of the muzzle energy or “horsepower” of a 9 mm ) but he is limited to carrying a mere 12 rounds max.

REASON: Whimsical / Arbitrary. . . No Rational Cause for this regulation
Legislators do not know anything about firearms or the Second Amendment.

DECISION: In the words of KY. Rep. Thomas Massie, “the Heller Team Lawyer submitted the complaint and the DC Lawyers immediately sent a letter stating the restrictive ammo limit regulation had been erased.”
